On a previous post, I wrote about Found Keys. I originally had two sets of keys to write about, so I inquired of the Lord. When it was time to photograph the keys, I could only find one set. So God made the decision of which set to use. He also assured me that when it was time, the other keys would appear.
Each week I inquire of the Lord what He wants me to share. This is His plan, not mine. Sometimes, I get the revelation early, sometimes not so early. While waiting and listening for the message for this week, I opened a drawer that I use often and boom, the keys were there. The time had come to write about this set of keys. Nothing is by chance, accident or coincidence, but by divine orchestration of God. Someone needs this word now.
My husband misplaced these keys about five or more years ago. When he told me that he had lost them, my response was to ask Holy Spirit to show him where they were. It always works for me. I also shared that nothing is ever lost. When he did not locate them, we made adaptations, made replacement keys, he used my keys and did whatever to make the transition seamless. In November, 2014, the keys showed up. I told you that nothing is ever lost. This was just two weeks before he transitioned to heaven.
In the Found Keys post, I talked about the particulars of how keys are made, etc. But this post is not just about keys, but about what the manifestation of these keys brought to mind. When they manifested in 2014, it was before my husband transitioned to heaven. When they manifested this week it marked two years from three brain bleeds of which he was never to recover. But he did. In each situation, God provided a way of escape so that I could not only survive but thrive. The keys are just another tangible reminder that nothing is ever lost.
The meat of the word for today is to encourage those grieving loved ones that have ceased to exist in this life. It is to share my life’s experience with the catastrophic events that come to steal, kill and destroy and how I overcame them. Through daily meditating the Word of God, I have supernaturally been kept from the evil one. God has carried me through the transition of my best friend, husband, and pastor, through betrayal, envy, strife and all of the other enemy tactics and made my transition seamless. But that will not be another post, it will be for the book. Look for it one day on the New York Times Best Sellers.
I have survived the death of a loved one without grief and this is how God directed me. I continually fill myself with the Word of God, magnify God and minimize satan, and keep prayer and praise active. Through revelation, I view death differently than most. Spirits never die, they just cease to exist in this realm of life. Because they never die, they are not lost, you know where they are.
For believers, this is how our lives play out. We live in this earth realm letting our lights shine until we have finished our earth’s assignment or just get satisfied and ready to go home. Even if we live for one hundred years, it is just a vapor of time when compared with eternity.
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. II Corinthians 4:18 Lack, sickness, and bad relationships are temporary. Life as we know it on this side is temporary. We close our eyes on this side and open them on the other side...absent from the body, present with the Lord.
Now this is where it really gets good. Just like I had another set of keys, there is another realm of living after this one. The final place for believers in eternity is the opulent city of Heaven. It has dimensions and is as wide as it is long and high. There are 12 gates with each gate made of one pearl. The city has twelve foundations of precious stones and the street is of pure gold like transparent glass. There is a crystal river that flows from the throne of God through the middle of the city. The tree of life is there with twelve kinds of fruit and it bears fruit twelve months. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. And check this out, we will live in mansions. "Now that's what I'm talking about." Because the Glory of God lights the city, there is no night. Tears will be no more, for God will wipe all tears away. No more death, mourning, crying or pain, the former things will pass away. Hallelujah, the devil is not a factor anymore. And as the old folks say, it is always howdy, howdy, never goodbye. When you process what awaits us in the next life, the cares of this life become tater tots.
Now for the unbeliever, this is not the case. They will spend eternity absent from God. But there is a simple solution. The Bible says that whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. And if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in you heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. Acts 2:21, Romans 10:9. Now is the acceptable time. Confess and believe and you shall be saved. Then ask God to reveal to you a church to worship, learn, and fellowship and that will welcome you to the family of God. You will be glad that you did.
