Daily, I say confessions. Multiple times a day my confessions are said about me, about my family, and about those around us. I make confessions about our health, our wealth, our future, and our peace. As my relationship with God develops, I realize how powerful my mouth is. Harnessing that power is essential to becoming a reckoning force against the forces of darkness and operating in the supernatural realm.
if you did not know, we live in a word-controlled environment. God created the world with His Word. We are created in His image and therefore we have the power to create with our words. Words are seed and they will grow and produce a harvest, good or bad.
I am seeing the supernatural operating in my life because of seeing myself as God sees me and planting good word seed. But I also recognize that some of the negative things I have said have come to pass. Words have power and my life is the culmination of what I have previously said. In a nutshell, I have what I say.
Look at these word seeds I have planted and the negative harvest they have produced.
I get the flu every year.
My hair is getting thin.
If I wake up during the night, I can’t go back to sleep.
If I take a nap during the day, I can’t go to sleep until late at night.
I said these things over the years and boy oh boy, what a harvest: I got the flu every year, my hair got thin, if I woke up during the night I could not go back to sleep, and a nap delayed my bedtime.
What can I say? First, I repented and called a crop failure. Next, I changed what I was saying, but change did not come overnight. Some corrections came quickly, some not so quickly.
This is how my word seeds changed and so did my harvest.
I walk in divine health and healing. Sickness and disease are far from me.
I have thick, healthy, manageable, long hair.
I sleep at the proper places at the proper times because You give Your beloved sleep and I am the accepted in the Beloved.
I put these new seeds in the ground, and over the years, praise the Lord: I never get the flu. The flu may try to get me, but I do not receive it. Taking a nap does not affect my sleep at night. If I wake up at night, I go right back to sleep. When it is bedtime, I can sleep anywhere, a chair, a cot, or a hospital room. Although I am still working on the thick hair, I see it in my mind’s eye. I believe it, I say it, and I have it, in the Name of Jesus.
Now you know a little more about the creative power of words. If you can control your tongue, you can control your whole body. Resist saying negative words and speak words that bring positive change. Get before God and ask Him to set a watch over your mouth and keep the door of your lips. Mean what you say and say what you mean. Only speak word seeds that you want to grow. Then watch your words create your supernatural world.
