Here I go again, back in DC responding to the powers that be. They are threatening a 200-year mode of nontoxic remedies that has consistently healed called ho·me·op·a·thy; attempting to change the policy in place and replace it with a guidance document that I just won’t take.
I have written about this before and I’m writing again, but I’m doing it in rhyme, so you can laugh and comprehend.
So here is a recap what I did in these few days and how I did them in several ways.
Touch down from Memphis International to Washington National was a nonstop trip now ain’t that practical.
I took an Uber to the hotel, the Hampton Inn, and enjoyed an evening and I rested within.
A race was planned by Generosity D.C. and my team that ran was Americans for Homeopathy.
They ran with Voice For Hope and Healers of Planet Earth is their scope. Your Path to Wellness is Your Freedom to Choose whatever paradigm of healing you use.
Although the rain held me back, the race continued, but my financial support had already been rendered.
Not racing for the cure, nor racing for St Jude, racing for the right and the power to choose.
Posting with poetry does lighten the mood, and now that I am at it I am getting in the groove.
My voice will be heard for homeopathy, you see, you see it’s not all about me. It’s about the millions it’s healing, the millions it’s helping and the ones that don’t like it, get to stepping.
I took some time out to visit the museum to check out my history and now there is no mystery. Oh, what a journey to get me there, a shuttle, 2 metros, walking and a bus and to add to the 2-hour journey, it was in a drizzling mush.
Unexpected meetings that I expected to manifest came about with divine connections and I don’t jest.
Appropriation Committee connections, legislative director and all, I know this is God’s doing, believe that Y'all.
The group met for strategy, to refine what to say before we had our big meeting with the FDA.
I led the group in prayer before we carpooled there with the confident hope of what we were to share.
The meeting went great and our points were strategically made. Our spokeswoman was articulate and not afraid.
When all the rhyming is ended, and the jokes put aside, I ain’t playing now this homeopathy is mine.
What do I do now that the meeting is done? I walk out the plan He has mapped out and already won.
One by one, I’m checking off the list. When walking out His plan, there is no risk.
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, I’ve walked out my faith and now I enjoy.
I’m reaping the faith benefits hour by hour, as I flex my faith muscles, I exercise power.
Power to speak things that are not as though they were, speaking to the mountains as never before.
No missing, no lacking, no want to be found for Jesus is with me and He’s all around.
From the top of my head to the souls of my feet, this is a combination that you just can’t beat.
At the end of the trip when all was said and done, it’s good to be gone but there is no place like home.
